Reverse Doubts

1 – Some things have happened to friends of mine that just defy rational explanation in a lot of ways

2 – For all the stuff that my crazy community does it is full of people who love and have a heart for those in need

3 – Too many atheists have the very certainty that they decry in religious people. Often when interrogated it’s not very well thought out.

4 – There are some piss poor atheist arguments promulgated as well

5 – Nowhere did God promise that lives of His followers would be perfect. Promised quite the opposite actually

6 – We are told to expect people to distort and misrepresent the Gospel. Why should I be surprised when it happens?

7 – There a lot more documents that support the authenticity of the Bible in comparison to other ancient works of literature

8 – Probably more but I’m tired right now…

Definitely true. This gets to be a tough one to argue at times though because people prefer to remain uneducated and make broad, sweeping statements about how there’s no evidence etc. Unfortunately the whole historicism argument of the 1800s — long since been proven false — has not left public opinion.

Fundamental problem in communication, particularly in politics. Regardless of reality the perception of an issue will carry on and on even when it has been disproved.
